The Health Practice Associates Council is an independent, non-statutory regulator and a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. We receive no government funding. Our work is sustained almost entirely by registration fees and by the organisations that subscribe to our safeguarding portal.

Maintaining a transparent, public register that employers, partners and the public can trust — free from commercial or political influence.
Active safeguarding
Running our safeguarding portal and compliance tools — including rapid alerts to employers when a registrant's DBS status changes.
Upholding standards
Investigating concerns and holding registrants to our Code of Conduct, performance and ethics — so standards mean something.
Where your donation goes
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we have no shareholders, and what we raise is reinvested in our public-protection work — the people, systems and processes behind the register, our safeguarding tools, the handling of concerns, and our efforts to promote professionalism and improve standards across the roles we regulate.
Please note: HPAC is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity. Donations are therefore not eligible for Gift Aid or charitable tax relief. We are sincerely grateful for every contribution nonetheless.
